Chris and Gerald are partners that have a complimentary construction background that includes custom carpentry, various installations and management. We have over 30 years of experience in the residential industry.
Chris grew up in Nebraska, working on various construction projects for his dad, and he always had a passion for the construction industry. Upon completing his degree at the University of Nebraska, Chris worked as a project manager in both Nebraska and Lexington prior to Lexington Remodeling Services opening. Chris and his wife Ashley moved to Lexington in 2015.
Gerald grew up in Washington, working on all aspects of construction, including roofing, commercial structures, trim carpentry and cabinet fabrication, since he was in high school. He has a Master's degree in carpentry and multiple safety and construction-related certifications. Gerald worked as a project manager in Washington and Lexington prior to Lexington Remodeling Services opening. Gerald and his rescue animals moved to Lexington in 2012.

Brent Wimpee is the founder of Southern Kentucky Building and Remodeling and has over 26 years of experience as a Home Builder, Remodeler, Certified Graduate Builder and Certified Green Professional through the National Association of Home Builders. He is an active board member and a Registered Builder with the Builder's Association of South Central Kentucky. Brent was announced Builder of the Year in 2009 and was a past president of the Builder's Association.
