In fact, Jones Construction Company is a proud member of the Black Hills Home Builder Association (BHHBA) and even won “Best of Show” in the Annual BHHBA Parade of Homes. Owner Ross Jones was eventually inducted into the BHHBA Hall of Fame for his dedication and efforts in promoting the home construction industry in the Black Hills Region. We’re also honored to have been named one of the top ten “Best General Contractors in South Dakota” by General Contractors Magazine for the past two years.
Experienced Work, Quality Results
Our years of experience are what make it possible for us to complete projects on time, within budget, and without sacrificing the quality of our work. In 1983, Ross Jones earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology. In 1990, he went on to start Jones Construction Company after seven years of working in the industry. Working with his wife, Melanie, the two have taken their combined years of experience to ensure every project is completed to the highest standards.
Ross oversees all of the building and works on much of the excavation work himself. He and his experienced team of carpenters complete everything from framing and exterior finishes, down to interior finishes. Melanie is in charge of office management, helping the team and their clients with scheduling, selection, and the bids process.
